What you see in reel life, never works in the real life!

A friend went for a movie yesterday. Movie was – “Turistas”. Movie was not great, but also not bad.

There’s a scene where one of the actor gets along with this Brazilian lady. So during the introduction, she says her name is “Aralayoo” And when that actor repeats her name, she kisses him, then again he repeats the name, she kisses him, and again and again.

He was sitting between two of his female friends. Next day all three of them were in a Rickshaw and he started repeating the same thing. The result was instead of kisses He got tight slaps, he repeated they repeated, he repeated they repeated.

Eat It, but Can’t Touch It!

I was in a telephonic conversation with my friend – Sunisha.
The subject was food. Then she said something ………

She can’t touch raw chicken/fish etc. So when she’s cooking Non-Veg food, someone has to clean it for her. She will do the entire cooking thing without touching it. If it involves marinating etc, then someone else has to do it.

She’s OK with Cooked Non-Veg Food and Loves it.

Every Phobia can be explained, and her explanation was – She thinks those raw pieces may pop to life anytime.

I was searching the internet for this type of Phobia, people are talking about it but there’s nothing. Carnophobia – fear of meat is close but not the ONE.

The solution to any Phobia is to overcome it by experiencing it frequently. Like I used to hate creepy-crawlies, but now I can handle them. I was afraid of heights, but I always get myself into a situation where I curse myself and at the time find it exciting. My mother relieved me from the fear of darkness.

I would like to dedicate a song for Sunisha and that too for a special occasion - when she’s cooking Non-Veg food! He Ha He Ha

Funny Moment

This thing happened with my friend, Yesterday.
A new train was introduced in the Western Railway fleet, a month ago.
My friend was traveling in this train for the first time yesterday.

Now this new train is imported from Germany, and is supposed to be little bit advanced. It’s more spacious and suspension is smooth. Speakers are attached in this train, every time the train is in between two stations; a message is announced like “Next Station XYZ” this is not new, as this system was also implemented in some of the older trains, but the speakers in this new train are very loud and clear.

There was a person talking on his Cell Phone and was in a heated conversation with the person on the other end. He repeated three times that he’s reaching Bandra Station in a minute. The third time he repeated the same thing! There was an announcement – “Next Station – Lower Parel”

What happens next? He just cuts that call and keeps his Cell Phone in his pocket.

Everyone surrounding him started laughing, including my friend.

The rest is history.

Business Business

Basically I don’t Blog during office hrs. But…………

I and my department head were discussing about a different business model. We had worked on it earlier, but this time it was supposed to be a full-fledged thing. During the discussion an Idea flashed in my mind, that was related to that business model but was a little off-track, as in it will need new resources and skill sets.

My department head told me one thing:
“I don’t want to go behind each and every beautiful girl in the office.”

For my Safety Reasons:
Don’t take the literal meaning of this statement. It means there are many opportunities lying out there, but you can’t follow each one of them, considering the resources you have bla bla……............

But that was funny!!!

A Stupid Moment:

Yesterday evening A person was standing at Thane Station with his friend. The spot where he was standing, he could view only the right half of the railway-indicator. Basically the railway-indicator is a black box with red/orange lights indicating the time of local train.

First it was 58 something, so he figured out that it was 8:58 local train. He turned his head around and again took a look at the indicator and found that it was 05, indicating 9:05 local. Then again after 5min it was showing 9:10 local. By this time he was confused. He told this to his friend.

His friend quoted, that it is one of the new clocks installed at Thane station, and they look exactly like railway-indicator.

Moral of the story: Even if you know that your friends think you are an idiot, don’t show it.
